The KIP Index is the first sector-based benchmark in the Arab MENA region dedicated to measuring the inclusivity of workplace policies and practices for women. Focused on 11 Arab countries, the Index provides a powerful, data-driven tool to support women’s economic empowerment by assessing how organizations recruit, retain, and promote women in formal economies. Through comprehensive research and actionable insights, the KIP Index equips policymakers, employers, and stakeholders with the evidence needed to drive inclusive reform, improve workplace equity, and foster sustainable economic growth across the region.

Project Outcomes

Conducted 50 in-depth interviews with female employees to explore their experiences in recruitment, retention, and career progression.
Surveyed 150 HR managers and decision-makers across multiple sectors.
Held 5 focus group discussions with 25 key stakeholders to gather expert insights and validate findings.
Produced two research papers
- Female Citizens’ Contributions to Formal Economies in MENA.
- Status of Women in Recruitment, Retention, and Promotion in MENA
