Project Details
The Level Up – Accelerating Jordanian Industries project, launched in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, was designed to strengthen Jordan’s industrial sector through strategic technical assistance and support for innovation. In response to rising unemployment and the economic impact of COVID-19, the project introduced a dynamic accelerator—developed in collaboration with UNIDO—to drive the growth of sustainable and inclusive businesses across key manufacturing value chains, including fashion, natural cosmetics, and phytopharmaceuticals. With a special focus on youth and women entrepreneurs, the initiative targeted 50 high-potential startups and SMEs, guiding them through a five-phase acceleration journey featuring advanced training, digital market access, international exposure, and fundraising support. The Accelerator also aimed to recognize and support 10 Champions of Digital Change, ensuring that visionary entrepreneurs were equipped with the tools, networks, and resources needed to scale their innovations locally and globally. Through this coordinated approach, the Level Up Accelerator positioned itself as a key driver of economic recovery, industrial resilience, and inclusive growth in Jordan.
