Driven by the Transformtion Pillar
Project Details
Through its partnership with the USAID Economic Reform Activity (ERA), BPWA led a high-impact initiative to promote inclusive trade policies and empower women-led businesses across Jordan. As a recognized national advocate for women in business, BPWA designed and implemented targeted activities to raise awareness on export opportunities, facilitate meaningful dialogue between women entrepreneurs and trade stakeholders, and identify key barriers limiting women’s participation in trade. The project also focused on strengthening the national trade ecosystem by proposing gender-sensitive policy reforms, supporting the development of a unified baseline for gender-disaggregated trade data, and recommending practical solutions to bridge the gap between export services and the needs of women-owned businesses. This initiative positioned BPWA as a strategic driver of inclusive economic growth and reform.
