Inspiring Young Women to Join the Workforce

About the project:
The “Inspiring Young Women to Join the Workforce” project aims at connecting professional female role models with Jordanian young people, to inspire, encourage and increase Jordanian females’ participation in the workforce through the “On-campus roadshow” that were held over the period of 8 months in 10 universities across the Kingdom during the year 2017.

The project’s aim was directed towards inspiring and motivating young females to join the workforce through developing a positive cultural shift for both genders towards females’ enrollment in the national workforce.

BPWA launched “On-campus roadshows”, where successful women viewed as role models from different governorates in Jordan shared their inspirational success stories to help and guide Jordanian women of different age categories and backgrounds to fully reign their potential and develop their skills, paving their way into increasing the percentage of women’s contribution in the Jordanian economy.

The roadshows were held in 10 different universities across different governorates in
Jordan touching upon the lives of more than 1,650 students.
